On April 21, Geely Automobile Group announced that it will debut China's first purpose-built Robotaxi prototype at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show. The CaoCao Mobility deep customization version is planned to be mass-produced in 2027 and commence commercial operations.
It is reported that the vehicle is developed based on Geely's L4-level AI digital architecture, integrating WAM world action model and L4 autonomous driving technology. The on-board computing power and perception hardware capabilities will break through the industry ceiling, and introduce physical AI capabilities, which is regarded as another key practice of Geely's embodied intelligence landing.
As the most important commercial vehicle for Robotaxi under Geely Holding Group, CaoCao Mobility has formed a closed-loop ecosystem of "intelligent purpose-built vehicles + intelligent driving technology + intelligent operations" and has become one of the few global technology mobility platforms with full Robotaxi elements.
