CaoCao’s Robotaxi Fleet Reaches 100 Vehicles, Kicking Off Driverless, Scaled and Commercial Exploration
Time: 2026/02/11

On February 11, CaoCao Inc. announced that its Robotaxi fleet deployed in Hangzhou’s Binjiang District had reached 100 vehicles, supported by the Green Intelligent Mobility Hub.

As Geely Holding Group’s most important commercial vehicle for Robotaxi operations, the Company has mapped out a clear “three-step” strategy, with each step aligned to different levels of technology maturity and operational goals: the initial phase focused on technology validation and small-scale pilot operations; the current phase will complete the transition from in-vehicle safety drivers to unmanned operations and explore mixed operations with both human-driven and driverless vehicles; in the future, fully purpose-built Robotaxis will enable comprehensive commercial operations on a global scale.

The deployment of around 100 Robotaxis in Hangzhou marks a key starting point for CaoCao’s Robotaxi 2.0 phase. As fleet scale increases, the Company will further validate service reliability and refine fulfillment processes and the passenger experience. At the same time, CaoCao has brought the world’s first Green Intelligent Mobility Hub online in Hangzhou. With functions including automated battery swapping, automated cleaning, in-vehicle tidying, intelligent dispatching and automated settlement, the hub will ensure smooth fleet operations while continuously improving the automated operational capabilities of large-scale Robotaxi services.

Going forward, CaoCao will gradually extend Robotaxi daily service hours, expand service coverage and launch the CaoCao Intelligent Mobility RAS Remote Safety Service Platform, fully applying an intelligent asset management system. The Company will further integrate its operational strengths with intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving technologies to close the loop on driverless Robotaxi operations and lay the groundwork for scaled rollout.

While deepening its domestic presence, CaoCao is also actively expanding international cooperation. The Company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and will set up a local office this year to work with local institutions on pilot programs for autonomous driving and green mobility technologies.

In addition, CaoCao is working with Geely and relevant partners to develop a fully purpose-built Robotaxi model pre-equipped with dedicated autonomous driving hardware and software. The vehicle is set to debut this year, and the Company aims to deploy 100,000 of these vehicles cumulatively by 2030. Green Intelligent Mobility Hubs will be rolled out in tandem with the expansion of the Robotaxi business, providing automated operational support across all scenarios and, together with partners, helping to build an integrated “sky–ground–space” mobility ecosystem.

Leveraging its distinctive full-element development model of “intelligent purpose-built vehicles + intelligent driving technology + intelligent operations,” CaoCao is steadily advancing its Robotaxi rollout and continuously driving urban transportation toward a greener, smarter and more efficient future.
