On June 18, CaoCao Mobility announced at the 2026 International Automobile and Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong) that it is officially launching a full AI transformation and releasing the new RoboX strategy to build a world-leading physical AI mobility technology platform and create an intelligent transport system covering multiple scenarios such as Robotaxi and Robovan. By 2030, CaoCao Mobility plans to deploy a total of 100,000 Robotaxis and 100,000 Robovans.

As AI technology accelerates the reshaping of industrial boundaries, AI is evolving from an information tool to a task-executing agent. More and more user needs will be understood, decided and scheduled by AI agents. However, whether it is passenger travel, goods delivery or service delivery, they all require real-world mobility capabilities to execute. How to build an execution network connecting digital intelligence and the physical world is becoming an important issue in the AI era.
Based on this trend, the company officially released the RoboX strategy. As the most important commercial vehicle for RoboX under Geely Holding Group, CaoCao Mobility will comprehensively advance the RoboX business layout around three core elements: intelligent driving technology, intelligent purpose-built vehicles and intelligent operations, to create an intelligent transport system covering scenarios such as Robotaxi, Robovan, Robobus and Robotruck.

In terms of intelligent purpose-built vehicles, the company will rely on the industrial ecology advantages of Geely Holding Group to jointly create intelligent transport products for different scenario needs; in terms of intelligent driving technology, it will take L4 autonomous driving as the core and continuously improve safety, operational efficiency and cost competitiveness in passenger and cargo scenarios; in terms of intelligent operations, it will build intelligent hybrid dispatch systems, super operation AI brains and Green Intelligent Mobility Hubs and other infrastructure to achieve efficient coordination and large-scale operation of transport resources.
To promote the full AI transformation, in the first half of this year, the company advanced strategic focus, continued to optimize its business structure, and actively scaled back non-core businesses. The company reorganized its organizational structure around AI, increased talent and resource investment in fields such as autonomous driving, AI operation systems and intelligent transport networks, promoted the deep integration of AI capabilities into product R&D, operation management and business systems, and accelerated the transformation into an AI-native company. The company's ride-hailing business maintained steady growth, and operational efficiency and profitability continued to improve, providing a solid foundation for the AI transformation and RoboX strategy.
CaoCao Mobility CEO Gong Xin said: "AI is moving from the digital world to the real world. Travel and freight and other transportation services will evolve into important infrastructure in the AI era. CaoCao Mobility is accelerating its embrace of this trend through full AI transformation. The core of the RoboX strategy is to build an integrated capability system of intelligent purpose-built vehicles, intelligent driving technology and intelligent operations, making vehicles the execution terminals of intelligent agents, building a physical AI operation network that connects digital intelligence and the physical world, and promoting AI's ability to truly serve the real world."

The company has already formed scaled and systematic capabilities in capacity scheduling, asset management, user service and compliant operations, and has built CaoCao Robo OS for the intelligent transport era. Robo OS will serve as the core operating system, forming a complete solution from demand understanding, supply-demand matching to service fulfillment, supporting the access and collaboration of AI agents, and realizing the efficient connection between AI agents and intelligent transport resources.
As an important stage goal of the RoboX strategy, the company proposed the "Dual 100,000 Plan": by 2030, a cumulative deployment of 100,000 Robotaxis and 100,000 Robovans, accelerating the move of autonomous driving from pilot operations to large-scale commercial landing.
To support the large-scale landing of the RoboX strategy, the company announced at the press conference a strategic cooperation with Geely Farizon Commercial Vehicles. The two parties will deeply collaborate around the new energy commercial vehicle system and jointly promote the large-scale application of Robovan models such as Shentong T6.
On the same day, CaoCao Mobility and Douyin Group formally signed a cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will establish a partnership around AI mobility service access, in-vehicle music content recommendation and other directions, and will continue to explore in-depth cooperation in more fields according to technology development, market demand and user feedback.
In addition, CaoCao Mobility announced the launch of Hong Kong Robotaxi business as the international first stop of the RoboX strategy. CaoCao Mobility and Octopus signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will establish a joint venture company, upgrade compliant ride-hailing services in Hong Kong, and jointly promote the landing practice of autonomous driving commercial operations in Hong Kong. Relying on Hong Kong's international urban environment and open innovation advantages, the company will explore the globalization practice of autonomous driving operation models and accumulate experience for the RoboX strategy to go overseas.
