On August 3, CaoCao signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dazhong Transportation. The two parties will carry out cooperative exploration in the field of Robotaxi mobility services. Leveraging their respective strengths in intelligent driving technology, vehicle operations management and urban mobility services, they will jointly explore new models for large-scale Robotaxi operations in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region, and contribute to the high-quality development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry.
Under the agreement, the two parties will advance cooperation in stages. In the initial stage, the two parties will jointly launch Robotaxi demonstration operations and carry out coordinated exploration across operational qualification advancement, vehicle operations management, platform integration, ground support and safety services. Once the policy environment and operating conditions mature, the two parties will further promote the cooperative operation of large-scale Robotaxi fleets, continuously optimize the business model and operating system, and enhance smart mobility service capabilities.
In the cooperation, CaoCao will take the lead in building full-stack Robotaxi solutions and technical systems, leveraging its capabilities in onboard intelligent devices and operations management system construction. Dazhong Transportation will rely on its strengths in urban mobility operations, vehicle operations management and localized service support to work with CaoCao to promote the construction of Robotaxi service systems and explore operating models suited to future smart mobility development trends.
At present, CaoCao has deployed over 100 Robotaxis in Hangzhou. In April 2026, it received approval from the relevant regulatory authorities to become the first smart passenger vehicle enterprise in Hangzhou approved to carry out driverless intelligent connected vehicle road tests. Previously, CaoCao reached a cooperation agreement with Shanghai International Automobile City. This strategic partnership with Dazhong Transportation will further accelerate CaoCao’s large-scale Robotaxi operation exploration in the Yangtze River Delta region.
As the primary commercialization platform for Geely Holding Group’s RoboX strategy, CaoCao is steadily advancing its autonomous driving service layout through an integrated model built around intelligent purpose-built vehicles, intelligent driving technologies and intelligent operations. Through this strategic cooperation, CaoCao and Dazhong Transportation will give full play to their respective strengths to jointly promote the application of autonomous driving technology in real urban scenarios and contribute to the development of smart urban transportation in the Yangtze River Delta and even broader regions.
