CaoCao Inc. Partners with Shanghai Qiansheng Taxi Co., Ltd. to Pioneer Barrier-Free Mobility Ecosystem in Shanghai
Time: 2025/05/25

The prioritization and care for persons with disabilities reflect a society’s level of civilization, requiring collective participation from all sectors. Aligning with the 35th National Disability Day and 26th Shanghai Disability Week themes, the initiative embodies the vision to transform “Day of Assisting Disabled Persons” into “Daily Assistance”. On May 23, under the guidance of China Association of Volunteers for Persons with Disabilities, CaoCao Inc. and Shanghai Qiansheng Taxi Co., Ltd. hosted the “Round-the-Clock Support Accessibility for All” Magic Journey charity event and multi-functional vehicle launch at Shanghai Noble Center. The ceremony was attended by NPC Standing Committee member and President of China Association of Volunteers for Persons with Disabilities Lü Shiming, along with representatives from the 12th Training Session of Youth Committee of China Association of Persons with Physical Disability. Capitalizing on this event and utilizing their existing LEVC TX5 multi-functional barrier-free vehicles, CaoCao Inc. and Shanghai Qiansheng Taxi Co., Ltd. have established comprehensive cooperation encompassing fleet integration and traffic capacity enhancement, pioneering innovative solutions for sustainable barrier-free mobility development in Shanghai.

As Shanghai’s leading taxi operator, Qiangsheng Taxi Co., Ltd. has consistently adhered to Jiushi Group’s corporate philosophy of “Sustainable Public Good, Every Service for the People”. By providing tailored mobility services for key demographics including students, seniors, candidates for high school and college entrance examinations, women, and persons with disabilities, the company has optimized travel experiences while demonstrating corporate social responsibility. In 2024, to address Shanghai’s barrier-free mobility supply-demand imbalance, it launched upgraded London-style black cabs alongside enhanced operational strategies, better serving diverse mobility needs.

As Geely Holding Group’s strategic investment in the “New Energy Vehicle Sharing Ecosystem” and China’s premier mobility platform, CaoCao Inc. upholds its philanthropic vision of “Mobility with Heart” and brand proposition of “Citizen-Focused Mobility Services”, relentlessly implementing premium barrier-free mobility services across all provinces and municipalities. To date, CaoCao Inc. has been operating 1,000 premium barrier-free vehicles in nearly 20 cities, recording 5M+ accessible rides.

The globally-certified LEVC TX5 premium vehicle features a safer aluminum monocoque body construction, with transparent partitions ensuring both passenger privacy and driver safety. For enhanced accessibility, the model comes standard with extended ramps, wheelchair restraints, 90° swivel seats, tactile Braille panels, and voice communication systems, delivering comprehensive barrier-free mobility solutions for all age groups, making it the preferred choice for both CaoCao Inc. and Qiangsheng Taxi Co., Ltd. in the barrier-free mobility market.

In reality, maintaining long-term sustainability of barrier-free premium services remains an industry-wide challenge due to multiple factors including limited market scale, high vehicle procurement costs, extended return-on-investment periods, and insufficient driver participation willingness. Under this partnership, multi-functional accessible vehicles owned and operated by Qiangsheng Taxi Co., Ltd. will be fully integrated into CaoCao Inc.’s platform, enabling Shanghai users to access barrier-free mobility services through dedicated portals on the CaoCao Inc. App and mini-program. Going forward, both parties will leverage their respective expertise in fleet management, intelligent tool deployment, and localized resource development to optimize dispatch efficiency, increase service awareness, and improve operational effectiveness, achieving sustainable barrier-free mobility solutions that benefit both society and corporate operations while ensuring stable driver incomes.

Concurrently with this launch, CaoCao Inc.’s public welfare initiative “Magic Journey” made its Shanghai debut, facilitating a Disney dream-fulfillment trip for seven families with children requiring accessibility support from Nanyang School in Jing’an District using multi-functional accessible vehicles. Moving forward, CaoCao Inc. and Qiangsheng Taxi Co., Ltd. will jointly develop a new digital ecosystem featuring resource interoperability and service synergy. While delivering superior mobility experiences, the partners will initiate themed public welfare activities focusing on youth protection, elderly assistance, and disability support through barrier-free mobility solutions, contributing valuable expertise and momentum to the construction of Shanghai’s barrier-free mobility infrastructures.
