On August 29, a conference to promote private enterprises’ participation in the Hainan Free Trade Port was held in Haikou, guided by the National Development and Reform Commission and hosted by the Hainan Provincial Government. The event gathered representatives from more than 100 companies to explore collaborative opportunities in the port’s development. At the conference, Chairman of Geely Holding Group Li Shufu noted that Geely has already made investment in Hainan, establishing operations in sectors including new-energy commercial vehicles and smart mobility. CaoCao Inc. has launched services in six cities, including Haikou. Looking ahead, CaoCao Inc. will serve as the group’s key commercialization platform for Robotaxi, aiming for global tech-enabled mobility leadership.

CaoCao Inc. operates as the strategic platform for the intelligent shared mobility ecosystem of Geely Holding Group. The company has been particularly active in the Robotaxi space this year. On February 28, CaoCao Inc. officially launched “CaoCao Zhixing”, an autonomous driving platform that integrates intelligent purpose-built vehicles, intelligent driving technology, and intelligent operation into a fully in-house, closed-loop ecosystem. This makes CaoCao Inc. the only mobility firm in China with end-to-end capabilities comparable to Tesla’s “intelligent manufacturing + intelligent driving + intelligent operation” model.

According to CaoCao Inc.’s interim report, it began deploying a new generation of Robotaxi vehicles in April 2025. Based on Geely’s latest redundant architecture design, these vehicles integrate CaoCao Inc.’s capabilities in automatic dispatch, remote safety assurance, travel cabin services, digital management of assets, etc. In addition, CaoCao Inc. is working with Geely and industry partners to advance autonomous driving technologies and develop custom-built vehicles pre-equipped with dedicated autonomous driving components and related applications. As of June 30, it had completed over 15,000 kilometers of autonomous driving tests in Suzhou and Hangzhou.

In July, CaoCao Inc. formed a strategic partnership with commercial aerospace company Geespace. By leveraging Geely’s satellite constellation in orbit, the collaboration aims to enhance autonomous driving with space-based technology, ensuring vehicles remain continuously connected and paving the way for the safe, large-scale operations of Robotaxi.

Analysts from institutions, including Soochow Securities, forecast that China’s Robotaxi market will grow to several hundred billion yuan by 2030. Leveraging deep collaboration with Geely Holding Group and a decade of operational experience as a ride-hailing platform. CaoCao Inc. has built an ecosystem moat that is difficult to replicate. The company is well-positioned to be a pioneer in launching Robotaxi at scale and become a world-leading, technology-driven mobility platform, setting an example for the transformation and upgrade of the mobility industry both in China and globally.

In June of this year, CaoCao Inc. was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), becoming the largest tech-enabled mobility platform on the HKEX. Since listing, it has gained strong recognition from investors and has been included as one of the constituents in the Hang Seng Composite Index.
